Textbook

For Summer 2013, we will be using Lynda.com Classroom training. The training will be open from May 28 through July 3 and the cost will be $12.33. You will have a choice of signing up for the Windows Training or Mac Training (Mac training includes Windows Access since Access is not available for Macs.) Please email the teacher with your preferred training by May 29.

Distance Learning

More than the average number of students fail in Distance Learning. Why? Because they don't keep up with the course weekly, then find it difficult to catch up.

The other reason students do poorly is they think they can skip the lessons and just turn in the assignments. Then they spend hours trying to figure out how to do the assignments. DO THE LESSONS then you will learn how to do the assignments. Each lesson consists of two parts - a lecture often including video demos and online training. BOTH must be completed

Please be aware of due dates. Assignments may be turned in early, but late assignments will result in points being deducted. Please contact the instructor if you have extenuating circumstances preventing you from submitting assignments on time.
